The latest dance performance of the Yvette Bozsik Company is based on a dynamic mix of humour, grotesque, absurd, theatre, dance and acrobatics. The dancers in this piece depict well-known, typical characters who meet somewhere in space and time and then part ways. In the characters we can recognize our own peccability, our pitfalls, and experiencethe cheerful and melancholic moments of commedia dell'arte and silent films. We recall our childhood and youth, the most absurd moments of our travels. The performance was inspired in part by Jacques Tati's film of similar title, but is a dance theatre work based on the creators' own experiences.
