Lothar Rübelt, a neves osztrák fotóriporter, sportfotográfus, 1926-ban egy csapat fiatal motoros útját követte kamerával Bécsből a Dolomitokig. Az így született némafilm, amely a klasszikus gépcsodák, a természet és az emberi kitartás előtt egyaránt tiszteleg, minden szempontból lélegzetelállító. A vadregényes tájakon haladó túrán bevállalós sportemberek biztosítják az igazi Easy Rider életérzést. Ma is lenyűgöző teljesítményüket sajnos tragédia követte, mert a film egyik szereplője, a rendező testvére, Ekkehard, nem sokkal a forgatás után egy balesetben vesztette életét.
